Protestors with mock coffins draped in the US flag symbolizing the coffins used to bring American soldiers home from the war in Iraq at the United for Peace and Justice march in New York City on the eve of the Republican National Convention on Aug 30, 2004. Over 400,000 people are believed to have participated in the march that travelled directly in front of Madison Square Garden where the convention is to be held. The largest protest in convention history was very peaceful with only around 200 persons being arrested.
